On Dalia Nosratabadi's website, you can explore her Gravity series of underwater photography, as well as her Upside Down series, which captures reflections of landscapes in puddles, photographed in various cities around the world.
Iranian-born photographer Dalia Nosratabadi, who is based primarily in Belgium, commissioned us to redesign her outdated website, which she could no longer access due to the unavailability of her original webmaster. With several new international exhibition opportunities lined up for 2025, the artist also wanted to strengthen her online presence through a more professional platform—going beyond her existing social media channels.
For the new website of Dalia Nos, we chose a minimalist homepage featuring a dynamic header image and shortcuts to the latest news. The gallery system was designed to be both simple and intuitive, with a navigation style resembling social media platforms. Users can swipe through images and use vertical swipe gestures to close galleries. Other pages display full-screen visuals on one side and corresponding text content on the other, providing a balanced and immersive browsing experience.
Since we had no access to the existing website, we manually downloaded all the images from each gallery and re-uploaded them to the new platform. Additionally, we recovered a collection of press articles and video links to feed two newly created sections: "News" and "Press," allowing for clearer organization of her updates.
Ultimately, this new website highlights the photographer's work far more effectively than the previous version, which displayed small images and had an outdated, mobile-unfriendly structure. The former site also lacked HTTPS security, resulting in poor search engine visibility. This relaunch not only modernizes her online presence but also initiates a brand-new SEO strategy for the artist.
